First Plateau Air Station for a Titanium Plant in Yunnan
Project Background
The Titanium Industry in Yunnan faced significant challenges in energy efficiency and environmental protection due to the complex and harsh operating conditions in high-altitude regions. The company had been committed to market-oriented development and technological innovation, continuously researching new products and processes to expand its production scale and enhance its competitiveness. However, the existing compressed air station was not meeting the energy-saving and environmental requirements.
Solution
Equipment: SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors
SIND provided a turnkey solution for the Titanium Industry in Yunnan, including the design, installation, and commissioning of a Grade-1 energy-efficient compressed air station. The SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors were installed, which demonstrated superior performance under challenging conditions. SIND also organised energy-saving seminars and conducted multiple rounds of communication to ensure alignment with the client's needs and expectations.
Results
The newly installed Grade-1 energy-efficient compressed air station achieved approximately a 30% reduction in energy consumption compared to the previous system. Following the successful installation, SIND arranged for an authoritative third-party testing institution, the Hefei General Institute, to conduct an energy efficiency assessment and issue the Grade-1 energy-efficient station certificate and plaque. This initiative not only strengthened the collaboration between the enterprise, dealers, clients, and third-party testing institutions but also set a benchmark for energy efficiency in the industry.
