Air Station Saves CN¥520,000 a Year at a Textile Plant in Guangdong

Project Background

The Textile Industry in Guangdong faced significant challenges with their existing air compressors, which produced unstable air pressure and poor air quality. Despite regular cleaning of the network nozzles every ten days, the nozzles frequently became clogged, leading to decreased weaving efficiency and an increase in defective fabric. The high energy consumption of the old compressors further exacerbated these issues.

Solution

Equipment: SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors

SIND installed its SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors, which provided stable air pressure and superior air quality. The compressors were paired with SIND's post-treatment equipment, ensuring that the network nozzles remained unblocked and the air pressure was optimised. Additionally, SIND's intelligent air station system was implemented, enabling precise digital management of air production, transmission, and usage.

Results

The installation of the SIND compressors resulted in a significant improvement in air quality and stability, with a noticeable reduction in network pressure. The cleaning cycle for the nozzles was extended, and there was a marked decrease in the occurrence of clogged nozzles. The overall production costs were substantially reduced. By replacing three high-energy-consuming compressors with two SIND 110kW intelligent PM VSD screw compressors, the Textile Industry in Guangdong achieved an annual energy savings of 527,000 CN¥.
