First High-Efficiency Air Station for a Fire-Equipment Maker in Zhejiang
Project Background
The Fire Equipment Industry in Zhejiang faced challenges with their existing compressed air system, particularly in the areas of metal processing, surface treatment, and other manufacturing processes. The original system was inefficient, leading to high energy consumption and unreliability. The company sought a more efficient solution to reduce energy costs and improve operational reliability.
Solution
Equipment: SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors
SIND provided a comprehensive high-efficiency compressed air solution for the Fire Equipment Industry in Zhejiang. After a thorough site survey and analysis, SIND installed the SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors. This was complemented by a 5DV smart permanent magnet variable frequency super dryer, an aluminium green super network, and the "Air Commander" smart control system. The solution also included 46 cloud-based monitoring services for maintenance and support. The system was designed to optimise energy efficiency and reliability across all stages of compressed air usage, from generation to consumption.
Results
The new compressed air station for the Fire Equipment Industry in Zhejiang achieved a transmission efficiency of 59.3%, surpassing the super first-grade energy efficiency standard by 7.8%. The system saved approximately 250,000 kWh of electricity annually, reducing carbon emissions by 236 tons, equivalent to planting 59,000 trees. The project was certified as the first "Grade-1 Energy Efficiency Compressed Air Station" in the fire equipment industry, according to the T∕CGMA 033001-2018 standard for compressed air station energy efficiency grading guidelines.
