First High-Efficiency Air Station for a Medical-Device Maker in Henan
Project Background
The client, a national high-tech enterprise specialising in medical care products, faced high energy consumption and maintenance costs with their existing equipment. This was a significant concern for the company. In response to the national "dual carbon" policy, the company sought a solution that would reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs while improving operational efficiency.
Solution
Equipment: SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors
SIND designed and installed a system using eight SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors. The system included post-processing, waste heat recovery, and energy-saving pipelines. The compressors feature a double-layer liquid-cooled permanent magnet variable-speed motor with an IP65 fully enclosed structure, which extends the machine's lifespan and enhances stability. Additionally, the system is equipped with a digital management and cloud-based intelligent control system that analyses data and optimises operations.
Results
The project achieved a Grade-1 energy efficiency certification. The system saves approximately US$9.86 million (CN¥70 million) in electricity annually. Maintenance costs have also decreased by about 30%. This project sets a successful precedent for equipment upgrades and energy conservation in the medical device industry.
