Smart Air Station at a Metal Manufacturer in Guangdong
Project Background
The traditional air compressor station at the metal manufacturing company in Guangdong was unable to meet the demands of digital energy management. The station faced issues such as unexpected shutdowns, pressure fluctuations, frequent loading and unloading, and inadequate predictive maintenance. Data collection and management were inefficient, leading to high production costs. Additionally, the station's piping design and equipment usage were inefficient, causing significant energy waste.
Solution
Equipment: SIND SILVERLUBE-VPM series PM VSD screw compressors
SIND provided a comprehensive solution, including energy-saving research, station design, equipment supply, installation, and training. The station was designed to meet the new national standard GB19153-2019 for Grade-1 energy efficiency. SIND's solution included high-efficiency compressors, optimal post-treatment equipment, and intelligent control systems. The station was equipped with a digital management system to monitor and control the operation of the compressors in real-time, ensuring the station's overall energy efficiency met the Grade-1 standard.
Results
The SIND solution achieved a 36% reduction in energy consumption compared to the previous station. The station's overall energy efficiency reached 58.2%, significantly reducing production costs and enhancing the company's energy management capabilities.
