Project Overview
SIND successfully completed a comprehensive upgrade and retrofit of compressed air systems across multiple manufacturing facilities of a leading global electronics brand, including sites in Hubei, Wuxi, and several overseas locations. The program involved replacing 18 imported centrifugal compressors and more than 200 imported screw compressors with SIND’s high-efficiency compressed air equipment.
The project was designed to reduce energy consumption and operating costs while maintaining the reliability and continuity required by high-duty electronics manufacturing environments. Through precise equipment sizing, application-specific compressor selection, and coordinated system controls, SIND optimized compressed air generation across the customer’s distributed manufacturing network without disrupting ongoing production.
Energy & Cost Savings
The multi-site retrofit delivered significant and measurable improvements across the customer’s operations:
Annual Energy Savings: Approximately 28 million kWh of electricity
Annual Operating Cost Reduction: More than USD 2 million
Carbon Emission Reduction: Approximately 16,268 tons of CO₂ avoided annually
The replacement of more than 200 imported screw compressors represented one of the project’s most significant efficiency improvements. By introducing duty-matched, high-efficiency SIND compressors and optimizing operation according to actual air demand, the project reduced part-load operation, unnecessary standby energy consumption, and overall compressed air system losses.
The result is a more energy-efficient, reliable, and cost-effective compressed air infrastructure, delivering measurable operational and environmental benefits across the customer’s global manufacturing network.

Client Benefits
The project delivered significant operational, financial, and environmental benefits across the client’s manufacturing facilities. By adopting SIND’s high-efficiency compressor systems, the client achieved lower operating costs, with maintenance expenses approximately 50% lower than comparable imported brands, contributing to reduced lifecycle costs. The high reliability and low failure rate of the equipment further support continuous electronics manufacturing by minimizing unplanned downtime and maintaining a stable compressed air supply.
At the same time, reduced electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions directly contribute to the client’s global energy-efficiency and sustainability objectives. The successful performance of the installed equipment has also established a long-term partnership between SIND and the client, with SIND compressors subsequently selected for multiple manufacturing facilities across different regions. This continued adoption demonstrates the client’s confidence in SIND’s reliability, energy efficiency, service value, and long-term performance.
